Constipation cause and remedy and acupressure point

Constipation is a condition where a person has infrequent or uncomfortable bowel movements, usually fewer than three times a week.

Symptoms: 

  • having fewer than three bowel movements per week
  • difficulty passing stool
  • straining when passing stool
  • passing less stool than usual
  • lumpy, dry, or hard stool
  • abdominal pain and cramping
  • feeling bloated
  • nausea
  • a loss of appetite
  • Lack of exercise.
  • Irritable bowel syndrome.
  • Ignoring the urge to have a bowel movement.

Constipation is common for people among all types of age groups. It can be caused by different things such as:

  • Changes in routine, such as travel or eating, or going to bed at different times 
  • Consuming large amounts of milk or cheese or dairy products
  • Stress 
  • Resisting the urge to have a bowel movement 
  • Not enough fiber in the diet.
  • Not enough liquids.
  • Problems with intestinal function.
  • Not getting enough exercise 

You can cure constipation by changing in your diet and having fiber rich food and fruits. Daily you should drink enough water also and these things will be useful for digestion also.

Nowadays in children also constipation is common because of lifestyle changes and not having physical activity in their routine. 

Best Exercise to get rid from constipation is to take your three fingers and put them below your navel and with another hand push your stomach inside for 3-4 times in the morning and before sleep. This will be useful to regulate your bowel movement.

It is best for a person to contact a doctor if they believe medication they are taking may be causing constipation. Before taking any medication on constipation also refer to your doctor.
